⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Content Associate
- Produce high-quality video and graphic assets that support digital marketing campaigns and social media storytelling
- Edit and produce short-form video content highlighting learner journeys, programme experiences, career transformation stories, community events and activities
- Design compelling visual assets such as campaign graphics, social media creatives, promotional visuals, digital marketing banners
- Ensure visual content is optimised for multiple digital platforms
- Collaborate with the Content & Social Media Specialist and Performance Marketing Specialist to develop creative assets aligned with campaign messaging and audience targeting strategies
- Produce visual assets for paid advertising campaigns, social media storytelling, promotional announcements, community engagement initiatives
- Ensure creative assets are delivered on schedule to support ongoing marketing campaigns and launch timelines
- Maintain strong visual consistency across all marketing materials to ensure alignment with ALX brand standards
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal visual templates that enable consistent design execution across campaigns
- Continuously refine and adapt creative assets based on performance insights and audience engagement
- Produce multiple variations of creative assets to support A/B testing across marketing campaigns
- Support the production of short-form video content optimised for social platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn video, YouTube Shorts
- Support the development of a creative community within the ALX ecosystem and engage learners and alumni who are interested in video editing, design, and digital storytelling
Content and Social Media Specialist
- Develop and execute a content strategy that clearly communicates the value of ALX programmes and inspires prospective learners to take action
- Craft compelling copy for social media posts, marketing campaigns, landing pages, community engagement initiatives and learner and alumni storytelling features
- Produce engaging short-form video content using mobile devices, capturing authentic learner stories, programme highlights, and community experiences
- Manage ALX Nigeria’s social media presence across key platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube
- Develop and maintain a structured content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, programme launches, and community initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the Performance Marketing Specialist to develop messaging and creative assets that support marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the Video Editor / Graphics Design Associate to produce high-quality visual and video content
- Monitor audience engagement and content performance to understand what messaging resonates most strongly with prospective learners
- Build and nurture a community of creators who help tell and amplify the ALX story including learners, alumni, ambassadors, community leaders & student advocates
- Create content designed for shareability and organic amplification and identify cultural moments, industry conversations, and social trends where ALX can participate authentically
Community Associate
- Execute community programmes, events, and engagement initiatives in line with the Community Development Playbook
- Support the day-to-day operations of the ALX Lagos hub, ensuring the space is active, organised, and welcoming
- Coordinate logistics for community events, workshops, and meetups, including scheduling, setup, and participant management
- Manage community communication channels, including responding to member inquiries, moderating platforms, and supporting engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with learners, alumni, and ambassadors through consistent interaction and follow-up
- Support the ambassador and referral programme execution by coordinating activities and tracking participation
- Capture and support user-generated content (UGC) from community activities, including testimonials, event highlights, and learner stories
- Track community activity and engagement metrics, including attendance, participation, and feedback
- Provide regular updates and reports on community activity to support performance tracking
- Support partnerships and external engagements by coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth execution of joint activities
- Collaborate with Growth, Content, and Recruitment teams to ensure community initiatives align with broader campaigns and objectives
Community Manager
- Design and implement a Community Development Playbook that drives engagement, retention, and alumni participation at scale
- Build and manage structured community systems across the full lifecycle—from onboarding to alumni engagement and contribution
- Drive community-led growth and revenue, including referrals, ambassador programmes, alumni-driven acquisition, and partnership initiatives
- Develop and manage partnerships with employers, ecosystem players, and institutions to create opportunities and strengthen community value
- Own and operate the ALX Lagos hub as a high-impact community, brand, and revenue-generating space
- Lead community programming including events, workshops, and engagement initiatives that drive participation and value creation
- Work with the Content team to scale storytelling and user-generated content (UGC) across the community
- Manage community communication channels and build strong feedback loops to ensure members feel supported and heard
- Track and analyse community performance, including engagement, referrals, revenue contribution, and alumni outcomes
- Coordinate closely with Growth, Content, and Recruitment teams to align community efforts with acquisition, brand, and revenue goals
Entrepreneurship Specialist
- Support the end-to-end execution of entrepreneurship programmes (Founder Academy, Incubator, Accelerator), ensuring smooth delivery from recruitment to completion
- Drive founder acquisition through growth marketing campaigns, targeted outreach, and conversion-focused initiatives
- Develop compelling copy and messaging for campaigns, landing pages, emails, and founder communications
- Manage and optimise CRM systems and founder pipelines, ensuring clear tracking across the full founder journey
- Track and improve conversion across key stages including awareness, application, selection, onboarding, programme participation
- Manage and engage the entrepreneurship alumni community, ensuring continued communication, participation, and value creation
- Drive initiatives to maintain ≥ 80% retention and completion rates across programmes
- Activate and manage referral programmes within the founder and alumni community to drive acquisition and reduce customer acquisition cost (CAC)
- Identify and support partnership and opportunity pipelines, coordinating with ecosystem partners, corporates, and stakeholders
- Support the execution of events including info sessions, workshops, pitch days, demo days
- Monitor performance across campaigns and programmes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Field Sales & Activation Specialist
- Operate and expand ALX Nigeria’s national field acquisition channel across universities, youth communities, professional networks, and public sector institutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with universities, polytechnics, and training institutions across Nigeria
- Develop partnerships with community organisations, public sector institutions, and youth development initiatives that expand access to ALX programmes
- Build partnerships with NYSC networks and youth-focused programmes across Nigeria
- Develop partnerships that remove barriers preventing prospective learners from enrolling in ALX programmes including devices, internet, learning spaces, sponsorship, and flexible payments
- Plan and execute activation initiatives that introduce ALX programmes to prospective learners including campus information sessions, career workshops, student engagement events, youth career forums, community activations
- Develop and manage a network of student ambassadors and community advocates who promote ALX programmes within their institutions and communities
- Generate qualified leads through field outreach, partnerships, and activation events and ensure all leads are captured and tracked
Performance Marketing Specialist
- Plan, launch, and manage paid marketing campaigns across digital platforms to drive learner acquisition
- Translate growth objectives into targeted digital marketing strategies that generate qualified leads at scale
- Manage and optimise campaign budgets across platforms while maintaining a strong return on investment
- Conduct structured A/B testing across creatives, audiences, landing pages, and campaign structures to identify the most effective acquisition strategies
- Work closely with the Growth Specialist to adjust marketing investments based on funnel performance insights
- Partner with the Content and Social Media Specialist and the creative team to develop high-performing marketing creatives
- Identify new acquisition opportunities across emerging digital platforms and marketing channels
- Work closely with the Marketing Operations Analyst to ensure accurate campaign tracking and attribution across the learner acquisition funnel
Sales & Partnerships Specialist
- Build and manage a robust sales and partnership pipeline, identifying opportunities across corporate, government, and ecosystem stakeholders
- Drive revenue through corporate training sales, including outbound prospecting, pitching, and closing training and upskilling programmes
- Support the relaunch and growth of the corporate training function, contributing to positioning, packaging, and go-to-market execution
- Develop and close partnerships with corporate organisations, government institutions, development organisations and NGOs, ecosystem partners
- Identify and secure funding opportunities, sponsorships, and grants that support programme delivery and expansion
- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including opportunity sourcing, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, negotiation, closing
- Track and report on pipeline performance, including deal value, conversion rates, revenue generated, partnership performance
Strategy & Operations Associate
- Coordinate the execution of strategic priorities across teams, ensuring alignment on timelines, ownership, and deliverables
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and reporting systems supporting weekly leadership updates, performance scorecards, monthly business reviews, OKR tracking
- Analyse operational and performance data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities that inform decision-making

- 3–5 years of experience in video editing, graphic design, or digital content production

- Ability to manage multiple creative projects while maintaining high-quality output
